Embracing Growth: The Spiritual Journey of Ramadan

Dear my amazing friends,

H+1 Ramadan here in Indonesia. As the largest muslim-majority country in the world, we are truly waiting for this month to come. People here are always excited to welcome Ramadan. We are making so many kinds of food for iftar (break fasting) and sahoor (eat before fasting at 3-4 am). And the streets before iftar will be full with street food which sells snacks for Iftar. People will try the best they can do to get the snacks they want. There’s a humor here, it’s some kind of war to hunting snacks for Iftar. Even non muslim will follow us hunting snacks. That’s why we called it war, because we are compete with each other to get it. It’s hard to get! Hahaha so funny!

Ramadan always teaches us something. There’s so many lessons we can take from Ramadan. Ramadan is not just a month of fasting. It’s a journey of personal growth, self-discipline, and spiritual renewal. It teaches patience, gratitude, and self-control, helping us break bad habits and cultivate a deeper connection with Allah. Through reflection, prayer, and acts of kindness, we strengthen our character and develop resilience.

This sacred month reminds us that true success comes from effort and blessings, shaping us into better versions of ourselves. May Ramadhan be a time of transformation, bringing peace to your heart and clarity to your purpose.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and fulfilling Ramadan.
