So…Apparently I Deserved a Featured Spot

A few months ago, I was just sitting in front of my laptop, trying to figure out whether a chapter belonged in Chapter 4 or Chapter 7.

Now I’m answering interview questions about my book.

Life is funny sometimes.

Recently, I had a chance to do an author interview for Cheers for a Good Life: Strong Mind. Calm Heart. Chosen Life. And I have to admit… it was much harder than writing the book itself.

Apparently, answering questions like “What inspired you to write this book?” sounds easy.

Until you realize you’ve been living with the book for years, and suddenly you’re expected to explain it in three paragraphs.

No pressure. Sure 😄

Some questions made me smile. Some made me stop and think. A few made me revisit ideas I’d almost forgotten I’d written.

One thing I enjoyed most about the interview was seeing the book from a reader’s perspective instead of a writer’s. It’s strange, in the best possible way, to watch someone become curious about ideas that quietly lived in your notebook for years.

Hopefully, they’ll soon live on someone else’s bookshelf too.

Wish me luck… or, if you’ve read Chapter 8, wish me readiness. 😉

Love

Kirana
