A Cup of Coffee for A Good Life

Daily writing prompt
What is your favorite drink?

You know what? It’s been ages since I wanted to try this fitur (not really, I only exaggerate it, the truth is I’m a new comer, 28th Feb will be my first month here, but I enjoyed it much!) Hello again, I’m Kirana from Indonesia. I loves writing about personal growth. Since I’m a book worm and I want to share what I have already read to all my friends here. Hope it inspires you!

Okay, back again to this daily prompt. Yes, I would love to try it, but I haven’t found the question that motivates me to answer it. But today here’s come the one which makes me want to try! It’s obvious, if you ask me what is my favorite drink, it’s 100% a cup of warm coffee! If it’s about my favorite beans of coffee, I will say it proudly, it’s Arabica Sidikalang coffee from Sumatra Island, Indonesia. It’s little bit sour and the smells oh my god, it’s so addicting! I can sip it all the day long! Make it hot cappuccino, extra shot, no sugar, please! It’s very specific and I guess it won’t change. Whether I drink it at home or coffee shop, it will be the same. The baristas in my favorite coffee shop already know, I never mention my order, they instantly made it for me.

I drink it twice. First, in the morning after breakfast. While I do my morning ritual which is reading a book, my husband will make it for me. Yes, true, you didn’t hear it wrong. It’s on my husband. Maybe that’s why I love it. Because I know there’s a love and care in my cup of coffee. Ouch! And the second time is in the afternoon after lunch. Usually we (me and my husband) go to our favorite coffee shop. We drink coffee while reading a book or writing. More like our productive moment. Also our quality moment, because we can talk to each other through our journey to the coffee shop and after we finish reading/writing. I know as a couple, we can talk at home, but it hits differently if we do it outside. Feels like we’re on dating. Ehm! That’s the point no 2 why I love coffee. After I wrote it down, I just realized, a cup of coffee is full of love for a good life. There’s a love, there’s a care, there’s a productive moment. there’s a quality moment. Nuff said!

Love,

Kirana
